everyone want to be CB
Yday I paid a visit to crosswords… I love readin fiction and was trying to c whts new… when I approached Indian fiction I was surprised to c many small novels with a striking similarity… all of them screamed that they had fun or comedy inside with a little bit of romance in it… I mean I took out few books… one was written by an iitian, one by an engineering student, one by a fellow from IIM-A, n so on… guess everyone wanted to pen down their thoughts… CB has inspired many to start writing… to pen down their skills… though all had the same concept.. a guy with couple of boys n girls… the college life… n how the guy gets the girl in bed… I picked up one book frm the crossword recommends section… I finished readin it this morning… it was kinda ultra soft porn… every alternate page the hero tries to make up with diff females… maybe CBs latest book 2 states had inspired this fellow in writing this novel…

yeah its true...CB has inspired many writers... even i landed up buyin a book named O shit not again..!! but it was really borin...
even i find these novel very similar in concept...i came to a point of not liking to read love story novels by new Indian authors at all!!!
The scence hasnt changed much in terms of books on love stories even 3yrs after ur post, but there have definitely been some different kinds of fictions in the market by Indian authors that r quite interesting, can get some knowledge & also get entertained at d same time :D
